This temple’s history starts from middle of 11th century and Chalukya dynasty. Lord Narasimha temple is situated on the bank of river Tungabhadra. This temple is known for the sculpture of six armed ferocious slaying of Hiranyakashipu. The kings of Maratha, Vijayanagara dynasty worshiped this lord.
