History: 800 yrs old temple.. The earlier temple was renovated completely and now a new Lord Narasimhas idol has been installed .The old moolavar diety has been taken and kept beneath the present new moolavar. Tulasi Maadam has been kept in the place of old moolavar as a remembrance of the Lord. It has been written in the history that Tulasi maadam has to be worshiped first and then the devotee should enter the shrine. During the kumbhabisheka of the renovated temple surprisingly the area between the tulsi maadam and the Present moolavar there formed a crack on the cement floor which signified that both deities are divinely Connected. Also SORGAVAASAL is also kept and open on Vaikunta Ekadhasi Day
