History:
it is a cave temple. Mulavar yoganarasimha with lakshmi facing the west and narasingavalli thayar facing the south blessing the devotees.here there is no kodimaram.( dhvaja sthabham)it is called gajagiri kshetram. Roamasa rishi desired to have progeny performed chakra yaga.he also wanted to have darshan of narasimha when he first gave darsan to prahlada.so narasimha appeared to him in his ugra form. Later he assumed the form of yoga narasimha.Address: yoga narasimha swamy, yanaimalai, ottakadai, madurai dist.
Time: 6.00 am – 11.00 am; 5.00pm – 8.00pm.
Route: 2 km from ottakadai. Ottakadai can be reached from madurai bus stop.
