Earlier this idol was in river Godavari. Villagers brought this idol to village and did vigraha pratishta. Lord Narasimha swamy is kshetrapalaka for this kshetram.

Uniqueness And Significance Of Kshethra: If lord is worshiped for 5 Saturdays and offered with jaggery syrup (panakam) and green gram dhal (vadapappu), graha dosha will reduce.
Year Of Construction: 200 years back.

- One of the Ashta someshwara temples is in this village. It is Chandra pratisha.
- Janardhana swamy temple which is Narada pratishta.
Temple Events: Brahmotsava celebrated from vaisaka sukla ekadasi to pournami.
